The conquering continues…

2 08 2012

I’ve just realised that’s been a while since I last updated you with my worldly conquests. So here are the latest countries to be conquered, and a few things I’ve learned along the way:

Algeria – It’s four times bigger than Texas.

Bangladesh – It has one of the largest coastal mangrove forests in the world.

Bermuda – Home to the world’s most famous triangle, I believe that it is actually illegal for a man to walk the street with no shirt on.

Costa Rica – Taking up only 0.03% of the planet’s surface, it’s still holds more than 5% of the world’s biodiversity. Thanks.

Greece – Over 2,000 islands make up this popular holiday destination and my Mum has only been to a few of them.

Lebanon – It’s home to the world’s oldest continuously inhabited city in the world. Byblos.

Nigeria – Nigeria has the highest rate of twin births in the world.

Norway – Food stores are not allowed to stay open on Sundays, but petrol stations and kiosks selling groceries are.

Panama – For all you romantics out there, it’s the only place in the world where you can see the sun rise on the Pacific and set on the Atlantic

Puerto Rico – The source of many hangovers across the world, Pina Colada was invented here.

SwitzerlandIn 1471, a chicken in Basel was found guilty of laying a brightly colored egg and it was burned at the stake

Thank you for capitulating and fear not, free air guitar and happy thoughts heading your way.

I’m excited to see a few more African countries conquered, a lot more to go.

Still got a long way to go…

I wonder if the chicken was allowed to say anything in it’s defense.
