Conquering slow down…

16 05 2013

The conquering has slowed down.

Only two countries since my last update.

Israel and Slovenia have joined the ranks.

Africa still seems to be putting up resistance.

But as we all know, resistance is futile.

So here are some facts about my latest countries.

Israel – It has the highest ratio of university degrees to the population in the world.

Slovenia – Postojna Cave, part of Slovenia’s Karst region, is the most-visited cave in Europe. It has a network of 20 km of passages, galleries and chambers.

Capitulate you fools.

Capitulate you fools.

As usual air guitars and happy thoughts are on their way.

The Smile Hunter Diaries: Week 2…

18 06 2012

Yesterday was a very special day for me.

It was my very first Father’s Day.

Young JJ had been busy making things, posing for a card’s photo and buying things.

Considering he can’t talk, I’m very impressed at his efforts.

Long may that continue.

During this time JJ also managed to escape to Africa.

He thought he’d managed to avoid the evil Smile Hunter.

Not this time.

I tracked and hunted him down to capture this smile.

Even the wilds of Africa couldn’t put the Smile Hunter of the scent.

The African jungle could not hide JJ’s smile.

And don’t worry.

That poisonous looking frog was ‘sorted’.

Mount up, we’re off to conquer Brunei Darussalam…

14 06 2012

One of the things I like about my conquer mission is finding ‘new’ countries.

I recently conquered Brunei Darussalam.

“Where?” I hear you cry.

Well let me enlighten you.

Officially known as Nation of Brunei, the Abode of Peace, Brunei is located on the north coast of Borneo.

The capital is Bandar Seri Begawan.

It regained its independence from the UK in 1984.

Be careful if you want to get wasted there, it’s a Sharia country.

The latest conquests are:

Brunei Darussalam

Hello to you all and thanks for visiting.

Your air guitar and happy thoughts have been dispatched.

Still a long way to go.

And for those that are still pondering over the question I set last week:

“Which countries do not contain any of the letters found in ‘mackerel’?”

The answer is Togo, Fiji and of course Djibouti.

Now if I can just get some more people from the same continent as Djibouti…
